ACV Studio - Glass Half Full

ACV Studio, by Anna Varendorff, is a project comprising limited-edition, handmade vases. Tubular brass is moulded to create minimalistic, sculptural profiles, each unique in patina. 

A metal alloy with a high percentage of copper, brass develops pink nuances during soldering that rise to the surface, leaving visible marks around the joins, the patination on the surface adding to the character of the vase. 

Crafted by hand from brass and silver solder, standing at about 22cm tall with a 2mm base. It holds only delicate flowers and will bend if not treated with care. The vase is buffed to a matte finish, and is untreated.

• Care: This vessel can be cleaned with brass cleaning products. However we recommend cleaning with tomato sauce and an abrasive kitchen scourer. Washing with mild soap afterward and drying immediately.
